Magic Match Adventures Review - " I think the match 3 concept is well known to most people. I've personally played many myself, including: Cradle of Rome, Pizza Chef. Cradle of Persia, and many others. I found Magic Match Adventures just as addictive as Cradle of Rome and Pizza Chef. But it also has something that those others don't. An actual storyline, mixed "power-ups" that you can use to help you out, and surprisingly good graphics.
At first, after 5 minutes of game play, I assumed that this game was made for young children. I quickly realized, it most definitely was NOT. Magic Match Adventures is sometimes extremely difficult, and many levels took me 30+ minutes to finish. It's addicting, and you're always waiting for the next "power-up" you'll be granted to help ease the game difficulty.
If there is one flaw it the imps. The first minute and 1/2 is just 3 "imps" playing instruments and singing a song that puts the "Barney" theme song to shame. I got so sick of hearing the ever increasingly annoying verses and chorus, that I skipped through the rest of the song. I believe the game would have been MUCH better off without these songs you encounter several times throughout the game.
The rest of Magic Match Adventures makes up for the imps with it's stellar graphics, game play, storyline, and addicting quality that leaves you wanting more. An added bonus is the length of Magic Match Adventures, which is far more than the average match 3, you get plenty of playing time.

Magic Match Adventures Review - "Well Magic Match Adventures still has the imps, but there are some interesting innovations. First the mana and spell system seems new and refreshing to me, gaining mana from chains and cast spells is fun and set you free from common "Collected Bonuses". This system also allows strategies since you can judge and distribute your mana points to maximize effects, that means you can trade some mana of one spell for the others.
Second, the objective of Magic Match Adventures is new as well. You clear some ingredients to create a red potion and take it to end the game, instead of the common, clear the background.

Magic Match Adventures Review - "The're Back!The imps are back in Magic Match Adventures, the latest Magic Match game. This time, rather than just telling a story, we get to play around inside the imps' lives in the land of Arcania. You can even help out, Just wave the wand over the imp in danger and everything's A-OK again.
Evil is everywhere, and it picks on the imps who work and play hard. It may stop the wind so a little imp can't fly his kite, steal items for sale from two imps' tables, or break a machine the imps use to get work done. To fix everything you have to run to the Magic Realm - the match-three game - to collect red potion to create a spell to help them.
As soon as you collect enough red potion to make the spell, you can throw it upon the struggling imps and watch the spell take effect.
There are different kingdoms in Arcania. Every kingdom comes with its own tale. A new evil wizard appears in each kingdom along with a Dark-O-Meter that displays the number of evil spells you need before dueling the evil wizard in the mini-game. In the duel, you and the evil wizard race to get the potion elements. Whoever clears all of the elements first wins the duel.
When you defeat the evil wizard, the imps celebrate and you move on to the next kingdom. Magic Match Adventures doesn't have lives, so you can just replay a level if you fail. The music creates a peppy and colorful atmosphere. Some imps will interact when you click on them. Click the drummer and he keeps beating the drum with one stick. Click the singer and notes fly.
All in all, Magic Match Adventures is just as quirky and just as much fun as the other, but different. Give it a try, there's lots of new stuff." - Little Match Girl
