You get to alk to clients, figure out what they want, design it, build it, what fun. But Home Sweet Home is about reality, not fantasy. It's hard to figure out what the client wants, and your workmen take loads of coffee breaks! Still---Home Sweet Home lets you decorate your own dream home with the profits. What's not to like? Home Sweet Home sets you up. Picture the scene. You move into a new house and have no idea how to furnish it! Sure, there are some items you know you need but, other than that, it's a blank canvas. Who do you call? How about the Home Sweet Home team? As the Home Sweet Home team, you learn about your client's tastes, create fabulous interior designs, and then direct your Home Sweet Home build team to assemble it all, right before your eyes! Home Sweet Home Review - "Home Sweet Home is one of the best games I've played for quite some time! It's like a miniature version of the sims - the decorating part, that is.The first time I played Home Sweet Home, I immediately knew that I was going to be stuck on this one - it's fun and very creative! Sure, at first it's a piece of cake, but over time new twists are added & none that I'd have expected.-- Phase One: Designing. You're given what a clients wants but it's in clue form & you need to figure out what the client wants. You must fill the thumbs up meter showing the client is happy with you. You also have a budget to work within & you must meet the minimum number of required items placed as well. Fail to do any of the above, then you won't progress to phase two of Home Sweet Home.-- Phase Two: Construction. You have three team workers who get low on energy & you need to be sure to keep them full of coffee. If they get too tired, they take very long coffee breaks & this will cause you problems because you have a deadline you're working with.They will require things like tools from you, first aid, & picking up their own trash. My only complaint with Home Sweet Home is the first aid. When workers hurt themselves, they run around like idiots. You have to wait on them to stop moving, & render first aid to them & do it before they start running around again. They are hard to catch. I particularly like that you can go back & view your past projects & also have your own home to decorate leisurely with money you earn from your completed jobs. Other surprising little challenges in Home Sweet Home, like cryptograms, are neat. One of my client's requests was a cryptic message left for me & solvable. It was not just for show. It also reflects alot on the Chinese artoif FengShui, the arranging of furniture which is said to bring wealth, love and health. The "educational" part is that we get to learn about retro-ness and the different cultures of around the world through furniture.The construction part is pretty fun too! But I hate it when the workers get injured --they run around like idiots and I can't give them the medical kit and it wastes alot of time which makes me lose and then i have to do the designing all over again, and I am in a hurry and I can't be bothered to place them in the correct order and it looks all weird and the tv is facing the back of the chair.--Anyway, at first, I thought Home Sweet Home was one of those games like Diner Dash where you just keep clicking at stuff again and again in some sequence (seat,take order,cook,serve food) which quickly bores me. I wasn't even going to try it until it was reccommended by my friend. The graphics is 3Dish, the music is pretty catchy and cute, and the fact that we can have our own house to decorate is the finishing touch. I don't think it's like Diner Dash at all.--This game is definitely original and fun, a must-have." - Sumo Jo
