Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac Review - "Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac was awesome!! it combines hidden object games as well as numerous other mini games! The graphics are phenomenal and the music really helps to set the mood! What made it even more thrilling for me is I played it at 2 AM in the dark!
I must warn you if you scare easily, you WILL be startled several times during the game. There are things that randomly jump out at you and shock you when you least expect them! I do NOT scare easily and I was startled several times and that was only in the one hour trial! I will definitely be buying Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac." - Midnight Gamer

Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac Review - " Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac is a great game. It is a hidden object game but NOT like most others in HO genre. It starts with a story being told to others and then you are actualy in the story. There are flashbacks to the story teller throughout. As for the game play itself it is different because most hidden object games give you a list and you must find all of those objects on the current screen. This isn't the case here. You go through a story line and complete little steps or tasks. While doing so you find that you need some objects in order to complete your task (screwdriver, nails, lighters, etc.) and you must find them however; that doesn't mean they are going to be on just the screen you are on. You must walk back and forth between several scenes to find them and figure out which to go to. In addition these aren't give aways like most HO games. You actualy have to really search on a lot of them. I really like how challanging it is to find the objects in Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac. Also, it's not a list of 20 objects it's usually 3-10 items. All throughtout there are side games/puzzles you must complete in order to gain access to other rooms. The puzzles are challanging but not insurmountable. You have the ability to skip the puzzle if you are having trouble BUT in order to skip you must have the hint objects that you find throughout the game. The story line is great and doesn't feel forced, the graphics are top notch. It's a great game period but the story line, spooky natue, and freak outs (things jumping out and moving past you in the foreground) are prefect since we are almost to Halloween. Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac shows a tremendous amount of effort put into it. I'm a hidden object fan and this is probably the best I've ever seen of the genre. The pace really picks up after the trial too. I also like the tounge in cheek "horror movie" cliches. I rarely rate 5 stars but it's very deserving. I bought the game, which is my personal nough guage. Do the trial. You won't be disappointed! I can't say eabout Campfire Legends: The Hookman for Mac." - HOG Heaven
