Day Twelve: Phoenix Desert Cactus Forest
Today we drove out to a cactus forest near Phoenix with my friend. She knew of a dirt road that her car would not sink in, but when we got there we found a beautiful paved road out through the cactus to a golf course resort under construction. |

We got some great cactus pictures, but the locals have lost
a four-wheel drive road. We didn't tell her husband, she is saving
the bad news for later. Just relaxed for the evening and enjoyed
American TV. |
