Las Vegas Vacation Diary
Twenty days of Golden Days and Neons Nights in Las Vegas
Introduction | What we did in Las Vegas
In October 2005 Joan and Ken took a trip to Las Vegas and to nearby Monument Valley. This is the diary that they sent back home, along with some pictures, gif animations, and movies they took while they were there. They have also linked the diary to their websites, Las Vegas Dreaming and Walking the Las Vegas Strip.
Las Vegas is not just for gamblers, there is a lot to see and do outside the casinos. The Las Vegas Strip is famous all over the world, and the sightseeing opportunities are as great as in New York, Chicago or any other big city.
Las Vegas was built to attract your attention and is the world’s greatest collections of architecture designed as “eye candy”. It is a visual feast, and the hotels are worthy sightseeing destinations themselves.
You can eat, drink and take in the sights and shows and never gamble
at all.
However, when in Rome – ?
Oh, what the heck, maybe a little gambling, in moderation?
We went to Vegas with cameras, pre-booked hotels and a small budget for shows and gambling and had a wonderful time. Here is our vacation diary.
