In Plumeboom: The First Chapter, evil villains, Crowbeak and Cornix, have taken over the peaceful town of Orniland.

The villains have developed a delicious potion that will turn even the nicest person into a Warrior of Darkness. In Plumeboom: The First Chapter, the only hope to restore its tranquility is to send the hero Plumeboom in to save the day.

Your gameplay mission in Plumeboom: The First Chapter is to help Plumeboom destroy the jugs of evil potion and rid the village of this wicked infestation!

But Plumeboom: The First Chapter has more. Along the way you can dress Plumeboom up in every more outratgeous costumes. And in the bonus games you get to fight back a Kamakazi attack of maniacal birds.

Plumeboom: The First Chapter Review - "REALLY CHALLENGING --I'm fairly good at these games and got up to level 18-4 the first time before having to start all over again when I lost. The second time, I got up to 30-3, and lost. The effects are neat. I am all about the splodey factor, and this game provides it as you go higher in level. I'm not really sure how you earn coins, or what the formula is for earning coins to buy powerups, but there seemed to be enough of them available to get what was necessary to move on. In the later levels, it's quite important that the explosions happen because there are way too many lines to keep track of otherwise. in Plumeboom: The First Chapter there's 180 levels to contend with. Bonus levels are pretty keen. Instead of shooting jugs, you're shooting at bugs that are invading. In the later portions of it, there's a challenge in NOT shooting some of the things that are coming at ya. Overall... a seriously well put together and solid game. It's one of the few that I am actually going to bother trying to complete because I like the way that it goes together. There's enough splodeys to appease the little kid in me, and the pitfalls aren't enough to take away from a high rating. I just have to remember to use some of the stuff from the 'Lab' more often to not lose lives early on. Stockpiling is good." - Gaming for Life

Plumeboom: The First Chapter Review - "Interesting! This doesn't work like original shooting match 3 game. In this one ur task is not simply just to wait for the right bottle color u wanted to come BUT then swap the bottle into the right position and get the color u wanted. Slowly repeat and plan well, and u will be able to clear the board and make huge combo getting new high score. Bonus level are playable. Example of bonus level:birds are flying toward u and u gt to shoot them all down before they reach u.Quite fun n relaxing at the start but wonder if it get tougher later (still playing). Of course u can buy upgrade power in the lab after every level ended with the gold coins that u had earned. And one more interesting feature is that u could dress up ur bird with different clothes,shoes or boots for every level.Swap bottle,match 3, power purchase, shooting birds, fine storyline and dressing ur bird for next level.
