Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers Review - "Yes, Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers is both fun and education. The objective is to snag all the junk out of the river and leave it clean. When I played the very first level here, I was horrified by the fact that it is real life Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers is about. So many ponds in parks were turned into the dump. All kinds of garbage is there, even the toys. I could see
that because the pond is shallow enough. That's not pretty and while Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers is fun, the real life is not.
Listen everybody, do your kids a favor and buy Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers for them. It's not bad to educate them to be clean and keep the environment clean. Yet this is the fun way to teach them. They will play Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers and then... they even might clean their room and make their beds w/o being told to do so, because they will realize that it really is nicer to clean the room rather than not to. And next time they are in the park they will probably put any trash in the
trash can rather than simply dropping it wherever they please w/o being told to do so. Please don't forget to mention your kids did a good job by putting the trash in the can. It will help them later in their lives, it will help everybody.
Do a good thing and buy Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers for your kids." - Educated and Shocked
Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers Review - "True. Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers is basically a "Gold Mine" type game, but it's extremely educational! Not only is this game good for the younger generation, but the game can help with the eye/hand coordination and dexterity.
In addition, I was able to play the game on my Win 7 Home Premium (64 bit) computer without any problems.
This is a very, very polished game, as I would expect it to be with the NatGeo branding." - GamerGroove
Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers Review - "National Geographic Games delivers a refreshing take on crane based gameplay with Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers. As an overwhelming number of water systems, (especially ones that travel through cities), have become polluted, the game couldn't come at a better time. These are the games we need our children to be playing, teaching that the responsibility to keep Earth clean rests on our shoulders,
solely. But, as usual, Nat Geo Games ensures this game will be appealing to all audiences, as well.
Crane based gameplay is a tried and true format. And Nat Geo Games has improved on the gameplay by allowing the player to move the source of the crane. This will allow you to cruise to undiscovered areas off the screen. The catch is that this movement will change the trajectory of your hook. If the player can use this technique to their advantage they can really rack up the points--grabbing objects faster with more accuracy.
This game is fun and hard to put down. At the end of each level I feel like I can do better (as I start to feel how to control the hook with more accuracy). This feeling of improvement gives the game its lasting appeal. Also, I find myself always looking forward to the next level just to see the artwork.
There are many reward systems in place in Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers to keep you motivated. You can buy new equipment for your boat; lights, sonar, power claws, etc. The game also incorporates a ranking and medal reward system. Also, your high scores will compete with other players' Quest and Cleandex scores online.
Nat Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers is the complete package; boasting 20+ levels, beautiful art, engaging gameplay, and an educational & pro-green message. This is a stunning example of the high standard of presentation and gameplay we have learned to expect from National Geographic Games." - The CLAW :-)
Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers Review - "Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers is fun especially if you like Gold Miner.
The graphics is good as well as the story. However, the task is repetitive.
I would like everyone to try this game first before buying it." - Digger
Nat Geo Eco Rescue - Rivers Review - "Geo Eco Rescue: Rivers isn't bad but it comes down too the fact it is way too repetitive. basically move and shoot the claw.
The graphics are good sound is ok but if you like the enviroment then play and unlock the info in their encyclopedia." - Watching the World Go Bye
