The second in the Blackwell Legacy Series, Blackwell Unbound is well plotted and has spoken dialogue that is actually enjoyable. Blackwell Unbound is a roleplay crime mystery puzzle. One of the tasks that is possible is to get Lauren to quit smoking. Lauren needs your help here, if you don't do it, she will smoke throughout the game. Blackwell Unbound is so good, that the reviews mainly focus on the smoking thing, since the rest of it is so.....excellent. All you guilty pleasure gamers and midnight gamers out there should download Blackwell Unbound as well as The Blackwell Legacy, and the new one, The Blackwell Convergence. This is gaming for thinking persons. Don't deprive youself of the pleasure.

Blackwell Unbound begins with a series of accidents that has plagued a midtown construction site.

The citizens of Manhattan take no notice of these events, let alone think they are connected. But you are about to discover the connection in Blackwell Unbound.

Medium Lauren Blackwell and her spirit guide Joey Mallone, the central characters of Blackwell Unbound, are the only ones who believe that something sinister is going on.

They are the only ones who can stop an enigmatic killer from striking again, and they need your help in Blackwell Unbound.

Blackwell Unbound Review - "Only one thing bugged me about Blackwell Unbound--She Smokes! But you can do something about that. To get Lauren to stop smoking at the very beginning you need to move the mouse to the top of the screen to bring down the inventory menu. You will see a J and an L. You are playing Lauren so you need to click the J to switch to Joey. Have Joey talk to her to get her to stop smoking; otherwise she will be smoking the whole time. Then look at your case file to start the investigation. Like Shivah and The Blackwell legacy, the graphics leave a lot to be desired but it makes up for it in voice acting and story.
