The Blackwell Legacy Game is a roleplay mystery crime puzzle. Ghosts and suicides are involved so be aware. The game requires thinking, so again, be aware. There seem to be hints on the internet if you really get stuck. The characters are really likeable and the dialogue is sometimes funny. This is a good game to begin a series. The others are Blackwell Unbound and the new Blackwell Convergence.

In Blackwell Legacy, Rosangela Blackwell discovers she is a medium who can see and hear the dead.

Follow Rosangela and her smart-mouthed spirit guide as they solve a supernatural mystery in The Blackwell Legacy.

The gameplay of The Blackwell Legacy let's you help Rosangela Blackwell and Joey Mallone solve the case involving a series of suicides at a local university.

Something unnatural has forced the students to kill themselves and nobody knows why. Your task in The Blackwell Legacy is to find out what and why.

Rosangela, who is just coming to terms with her new status as a medium, the Blackwell Legacy, finds herself cast as the unwilling detective in this gruesome mystery.

The Blackwell Legacy is set in real locations in New York City, such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Washington Square park.

The Blackwell Legacy has an original, orchestrated soundtrack.

DVD-style bonus features, such as creator's commentary and bloopers have been included in The Blackwell Legacy.

The Blackwell Legacy Review - " The Blackwell Legacy is definitely worth a try. So no one gets stuck first thing with the dog this is what you need to do: DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ON YOUR OWN! Go up to the dog and let him follow you past the lamp post, then walk down and past the lamp post again so the dog will wrap himself around the lamp post, he will then start barking. You can get a step-by-step walkthrough off the Internet. The Blackwell Legacy Review - " The Blackwell Legacy has an engrossing storyline and well-written characters. I especially liked that Rosangela had a tongue, as opposed to some of the more submissive female protagonists who're supposed to carry an opinion but have to please the masses.
The interaction between Joey and Rosa is also entertaining. It's not every day where you find lead characters who aren't a bunch of limp biscuits or who grate on your nerves by over-pandering or by cracking one too many lame jokes.
The notebook combination puzzle was nicely done and although some of the puzzles required thinking, they were fun. Finally, as customary of many investigations, what you have is a list of "suspects" or leads and through questioning and sleuthing, you ask the right questions and find the answers you've been looking for. I guess the execution and implementation could've been better but heck, even certain big budget games have fared poorer too.

The story and dialogue are entertaining and well-written, and though the graphics may seem sub-par, it didn't detract from the gameplay.
