I think Toy Story 3 will be the final Toy Story movie, unless they reboot the series with new toys in a new environment. Anyway, this is a fitting end to a very entertaining group of movies.
I will assume you've seen Toy Story 1 and 2.
Andy is now 17 and headed off to college. He decides to store all of his old toys in the attic, except for Woody who will come with him to college. Andy puts them in a garbage bag which his mother thinks he means to put out for collection. Woody witnesses the entire kufaffle. The toys escape the garbage bag and make their way into a box destined for the Sunnyside Daycare Center. Woody tries to tell them what really happened, but they are too
shell-shocked by their close call with the garbage truck to believe that Woody is telling the truth. So, off they go to Sunnyside, with Woody in tow.
At first Sunnyside is a toy's dream-come-true, until they realize that new toys are forced into the area for very young children, who know more about destroying toys than how to play with them. I'll leave the rest of the story for you to discover.
This is a heart-warming film for the whole family - definitely on my DVD wanted list. |
