Westward 2: Heroes
of the Frontier Review - "BEST!!!!! Westward
II: Heroes of the Frontier is one
of the best games I have played. Westward 2 is even better
than full feature strategy games I have
played. It is so fun, and a huge challenge. By the way I really
dislike
Westward
1. Graphics, gameplay, sound, and
music are so good that I played non-stop for about a week...
Love & thanks to programmers and staff..." -

Westward 2: Heroes of the Frontier
Review - "Westward 2 is so
exciting to play!
My husband bought
this game for me as soon as it came out. I LOVED the first one
and couldn't wait to play the second. There are a few major difference.
First you get your own character to play. The levels are more
challenging and there are a lot more buildings and upgrades you
can purchase. There were a few things i didn't like though. They
added a scroll/zoom feature that allows you to see things close
up. I found it got in the way of some of my drag and drops. Also,
the plot wasn't quite as strong as it was in the first one. One
small thing that bugged me was that the sheriffs didn't have
horses! Can you imagine? lol
If you loved the first game this is a must buy. I'm still working
my way through the levels, trying to capture that Mad Russian.
Westward 2 is teriffic." - Lady

Westward 2: Heroes of the Frontier
Review - "Westward 2 is even
better than the first one! As with
the first game, I can see this will take some time to complete
which is a good thing. More options, better graphics, sound doesn't
get on your nerves. Overall I highly recommend Westward 2 to
anyone tired of the usual match 3, etc. Gameplay Im going to
mark 1
notch below perfect only because the game is a little jerky but
that is most likely due to my outdated video card, time to upgrade!
To tell you how much i like Westward 2, previous games running
slow have not convinced me to upgrade, but I will-- just to play
Westward 2. BTW in case you're wondering I am using the on-board
graphics which are garbage to begin with so anyone with even
a 2x AGP should be able to run this flawlessly." -

Westward 2: Heroes of the Frontier
Review - " Westward II: Heroes of the Frontier
is tougher than the first one. For all those who wanted a more
challenging
experience,
this
is
it. You may choose among
one of three heroes, each of whom has a unique bonus to employ
during your quest. Buildings and upgrades must usually be purchased
in order to build your settlement. There are plenty of quests
and the natural disasters in Westward II, plus "bad guys" are
all there to add to the fun. The graphics are great on this game.
Special
bonuses are offered too for those who want a little extra. Westward
II is a great experience that can be frustrating and rewarding
at the same time." - Sim Gamer
Westward 2: Heroes of the Frontier
Review - "WOW!!! Once I started playing Westward
2, I
remembered suddenly about such game as Sim City 3000 Unlimited.
Well, Westward 2 is a whole lot better! I spent the entire
hour in the Sandbox mode. I built quite a place and... bang
- the trial time is over.
In Sim City I do a whole lot of zoning and there is not much to build.
All you do is watch it all happen by itself. Well, I can install
water towers, fire stations, etc, but I can't build homes for people
and I can't command individuals. Unlike Sim City, Westward II has
it all!!! Yet Westward 2 could be even better. That is if it included
the trading options. I mean the import/export kind of stuff. There
already
is
a railroad in the game and I would trade back and forth if it was
possible. You, people, might say there already is the import option.
Well, there is still no export option. Say, bandits attack trains
full of goods and cops defend the goods and make it to the point
of destination. If the train explodes, then the mission has failed.
I hope this kind of stuff is still to come, maybe in Westward 3. Otherwise,
Westward 2 is a great game!!!" - Going West
