Virtual City Review - "Better than Sim City - Virtual City is much better; it's much easier to play; it's got more stuff that's caught my eye right away. I only played for about 20 minutes before I stopped to tell everybody that Virtual City is way mega great. Now that that is done, I'm clicking the "buy" button. Excuse me while I give Virtual City my full attention.

Virtual City Review - "n the past year or so, the quality of casual games has improved noticeably. Gone are the days where casual games were generally the very poor cousins of their commercial counterparts, lacking polished graphics and gameplay time of just a few hours, and whilst still offering a generally lighter fare than the epic sagas many commercial games do, this is a very welcome thing for many of us who aren't
wanting to play something too heavy.
Virtual City offers just this, and it's unfair to complain it lacks the complexity of the Sim City series. For those who can't be bothered reading through 100 page manuals yet like the concept of Sim City, Virtual City is a winner. There is a degree of complexity, certainly, but nothing over the top - if it seems a little complex at first, don't worry - stick with it for an hour or two and you'll soon pick it up. The in game tutorial is brief yet perfect for learning
the game as you play without boring you with pages and pages of reading material. This is what "casual" gaming is all about after all, and kudos to G5 Entertainment for recognizing this and delivering the goods (hmmm - there's a pun there I guess as that's what this game is all about :)
Virtual City offers not only a nice "campaign" game where certain goals and objectives have to be met (which progressively teaches you the the game as you go), but half a dozen excellent "Sandbox" levels which give you complete freedom to design a city to your tastes. There are hours and hours of decent gameplay on offer here." - Edwardian Lady
Virtual City Review - "Virtual City is the best game I have ever played. I tried to play Sim City, but couldn't get my head around it. I like TM games but this one tops the lot. There are hours to spend on this game what with the sandbox mode of each of the states. These sandboxes are so large it would take forever and a day to fill them, and the good thing about this that you could make your own challenges. There are lots
of forums for Virtual City too, so if you get stuck there is always an answer somwhere.
Virtual City makes you think, its not just about clicking and speed so there is no stress involved as there are with dash games. I had to buy Virtual City as soon as the demo was over, and I am glad that I did." - Taking TimeOut
Virtual City Review - "I am thoroughly enjoying this Great simulation game (or is it a time management game?), Virtual City is not SimCity, meaning you don't control the classic formula of R.C.I, that was a little letdown, but Virtual City offers fantastic gameplay to try to score the 'expert' award , round after round, with fresh new goals coming your way. Managing trucks and dumpsters is great, but the "tech tree" still
leaves me greatly confused round after round, but the funfactor makes up for it. It really comes down to making money the fastest way possible, given the limited resources to start with, ending the round the fastest way possible without getting too flustered, because everything explodes your way mid round, and managing it all at once becomes.. quite challenging! here's hoping to a sequel, this is one to satisfy SimCity lovers ." - SimJim
Virtual City Review - "Virtual Cityis what the original simcity should have evolved into, this game is easy to pickup but has a depth that can only be reached thru making a balanced environment, the building and services all compliment each other well and leave you feeling like your town could make it without you, you don't have to micromanage every single thing as long as you make sure you build in balance, Virtual City
graphics are great for a small game, well worth the asking price, I just hope the creator of Virtual City takes this project further." - Gentleman Gamer
