Venture Arctic Review - "Venture Arctic kept me entranced for hours the first time I sat down to play it . I was intrigued by the demo, finding the art beautiful and the concept both refreshing and exciting. In retrospect I find that the demoof Venture Arctic didn't really do the game justice- actual game play is thoroughly engrossing, educational, and down right fun. The Venture Arctic interface itself is intuitive, and truly makes you feel like you have complete control over the ecosystem you are creating and managing. The un-lockable animals and tools add depth to the game by continuously adding new elements to game play. I recommend this game to tycoon fans, nature and animal lovers, educators, adults, and children alike. This is a great game, hats off to Pocketwatch Games."- Games-R-Teachers

Venture Arctic Review -"Watch out! Venture Arctic is educational! Venture Arctic claims to be a tycoon game, but its more like an educational game, a more sophisticated version of Wildlife Tycoon: Venture Aftrica. You're trying to build and maintain a balenced Arctic Eco system by breeding creatures, growing plants etc and also collecting their deceased spirts once they die to earn more spirt energy for your tools. Your given a pretty good tutorial from the start so you'll quickly pick up the basics. But it does miss a vital bit of information in that if you don't cause it to snow on the land, then thaw it later, the ground will be come unfertile and incabable of supporting your critters.The 3D graphics for such a small game are great, though they will cause some older computers to lag. There are no 'animal noises' such as the wolves howling or the Caribou calling which I miss. Gameplay will be dull to alot of people, but Venture Arctic is more about thinking and planning that quick clicking. Even though you have alot to do each season, it can get samey and I found myself wishing the seasons were longer to give me more time to do things. Its something of a Marmite game (Spinach to the Yanks). You'll either love it or hate it. I quite liked it and I'd recomend people to at least give it a shot." - Edwardian Lady
