There are alot of variations, surprises and different pathways in the Venice game, therefore Venice has a long gameplay and good replay value.

In Venice the water is rising and it's up to you to rescue the sinking buildings of Venice by restoring their lost treasures.

Venice gamplay has you launch coins, lyres and ruby rings into the matching shapes moving overhead, but think fast because blocks, chutes and devious traps threaten to drag the city of Venice under.

There are four Venice gameplay modes:

- Venice Tricky Shots
- Venice Flood
- Venice Survival

"Review Venice - Venice sure is nice this season. Not the city, which I wouldn't know since I've never been there - but the new game. Are you tired of these same old games with a new twist here and there? If you are, Venice is here to save your day.The goal here is to shoot treasures (coin, star, heart, etc) up an empty slot of the same shape and thus filling a plate. When a plate is filled, it disappears. when all plates in the screen are filled, you climb up the building for more plates to fill and it goes on until you reach the top - which then ends the level. But it's not that simple, your treasures can ricochet off walls and obstacles - and if you aim it right the match can even tumble down filling some empty slots for you along the way. This tumble mechanics is what keeps the game going, since you get extra points and powerups with tumbles. I love it." - the gondalier

"Venice is a great game--When you start the Venice game, you automatically go to the 'Journey' Mode, in which you must shoot your objects up the building and must not let them fall in the water - which results you loosing a life. After a few buildings in 'Journey' you can switch in main menu for the 'Flood' Mode, which requires you to shoot the objects before the plates sink into the water - but this time you don't need to worry about objects falling into the water. Both of these offer plenty of levels ('buildings' as the game calls it) so it's up to you to choose which one you prefer. I liked 'Journey' better, since it's easier. Finishing 'Journey' mode, you unlock the 'Tricky Shots' mode and finishing 'Flood' mode unlocks the 'Survival'. So, you see Venice offers plenty of levels and plenty of modes to keep you entertained for weeks.
