Tasty Planet Review - "At first I was like, ewww microbes?
Tasty Planet is about some scientists who grow something grey and funny looking that eats germs and microbes, but this thing grows bigger and start eating everything it sees, including dice, pens, rats, fishes ...etc you name it! Tasty Planet is so funny and cool it shows how a small thing can grow stronger to eat the bigger things, which was once a threat that could destroy it!
The graphics might seem so basic but who cares? The idea is so cool and I really found myself finishing my trial version and then buythe full version of Tasty Planet!
You should try it and have fun!" - P.T. Jensen
Tasty Planet Review - "I'm surprised there wasn't more reviews for this game! Tasty Planet is soo much fun. There are 3 different modes to Tasty Planet. The adventure mode, where you are timed, in the end of each level. In Tasty Planet Adventure, you can get a gold, silver, or bronze medal for completing it, based on your time. Then there is relaxed mode, which is un-timed. So you can sit back, enjoy the Tasty Planet experience, and take
as long as you'd like. And finally there is endurance mode. Only attempt the Tasty Planet endurance mode if you have a lot of patience! lol it really is a game of how much you can endure. It is like the other two modes, except un-timed (like relaxed mode) and it takes a lot (I mean a lot) longer to complete.
Basically what you do in Tasty Planet is, you start out as a grey goo. You eat everything smaller than you, and you begin to grow, letting you be able to eat things you formerly couldn't due to your smaller size. You're set off to eat the whole world, the Tasty Planet! You start small in the early levels of Tasty Planet by eating bacteria, and ending up in the last levels in space eating the solar system! You're Tasty Planet game is not complete until you've
eaten not only everything in the world, but everything in general. lol." - Costanzo Zito
Tasty Planet Review - "What starts off so innocently as a little grey bathroom cleaner, and then goes completely homicidal (so to speak), Tasty Planet hooks you from the start wondering what you are going to be able to devour as your little microscopic goo starts out in the milli-micron range eating bacteria and such, to parsec range and beyond devouring galaxies at a shot.
Tasty Planet is very similar to the Feeding Frenzy games in that your goal is to eat things smaller than yourself so that you can grow and start chowing down on the bigger items. And for those Feeding Frenzy fans, there are even ocean levels.
The elevator music in Tasty Planet is soothing in a manner of speaking amid the commotion of cars crunching, people screaming, buildings collapsing and such. The music sort reminded me alot of Teddy Factory (actually, I believe it may have been the same), but goes very well with Tasty Planet.
The Tasty Planet gameplay is very good in that you can use your mouse or keyboard to control your adorable little grey master of destruction.
It is very easy to get absorbed in Tasty Planet, on relaxed mode, it is easily beaten in around 2 hours, but going for the golds in timed, well, that's a whole other thing. Tasty Planet is a game with very high replayability for such a simple concept. " - Leroy Cadieux
Tasty Planet Review - "Starting of as a microscopic organism of bacteria and eating your way through algae and red blood cells to satellites and meteors, whilst at the same time getting larger and larger, Tasty Planet reminded me of a game called Katamari.
Games are made to have fun and Tasty Planet definitely had the fun factor! It is a highly enchanting, unusual and a unique game. The music is up-beat and enjoyable. One piece of music in particular reminds me of The Sims and the speech in Tasty Planet makes me laugh especially when he goes YUMMY!
The gameplay of Tasty Planet is similar to Feeding Frenzy where you move your character with the mouse and just eat away! You also get the choice to play in timed mode and aim to get gold, or untimed mode.
I highly recommend that you purchase Tasty Planet and see for yourself.
Let's all hope there is a Tasty Planet 2!" - J.L. Scott
Tasty Planet Review - "I loved Tasty Planet! Even though everyone is comparing it to feeding frenzy i found it better, cuter and more entertaining. I would suggest buying it because it is a very Fun, Entertaining, and general time filler. With the different medals to gain Tasty Planet makes hours of entertainment. At first i though the graphics were going to be bad, but the badly drawn cover art and story comic only add to the
appeal of Tasty Planet. I thought it would get boring quick but i couldn't have been more wrong. Great Music, awesome replay ability. I say buy Tasty Planet if you like these kind of games." - M.J. Shore
