Starscape Review - " I
love Starscape. This game has been out for a while, but is just
now hitting PixelParadox. Basically,
Starscape is a hybrid game blending quite a few genres. Starscape
is mostly action, however---Collecting materials to upgrade your
ship (lots of fun space-mining), shooting down enemy ships, protecting
your base, etc..
There is also a big map of the galaxy which you jump around on. (And through wormholes into another dimension, etc.) You have to avoid certain enemy patrols and work your way towards facing the ultimate threat.
Starscape places you in control of a science research vessel. You can upgrade the large gun on your main ship which can fight off attacks, but also can have up to four other ships that you control directly during battle/mining/etc. It's a lot of fun.
There is a great deal of customization,
a great story, lots of development of new weapons and technologies,
and a ton of replay value. Give Starscape a try, for sure!" -

Starscape Review - "BLAST
AWAY WITH STARSCAPE!! I've owned Starscape for five years and
I still play it! Starscape is a
true BLAST!! You blast away wave after wave of aliens while gathering
resources for building and research. The learning curve for Starscape
is short and most folks can start playing right away! Give Starscape
a try because you will either like it or you won't in 30 minutes.
The first three levels are easy, but levels 4 and 5 are more challenging. The mother ships are big, but not too hard to defeat. At the higher game levels, the game is more challenging, but not much more.
Starscape is about blasting the
*heck* out of wave after wave of aliens! A great stress reliever." -

Starscape Review - "Innovative
with high replay value.- I liked
Starscape so much I bought it..This is a great space shooter/sim,
an amazing game really. Fly around,
mining stuff and getting loot to put on your ships. Yes, shipS
(though you only fly one at a time). It's
like Sinistar in it's game play, but you get to build your ship
with stuff you create using the stuff you collect. Starscape
is a very nice game, could go multiplayer even. Graphics
are great. Two gripes i do have
are that the menus are so hard to navigate and the tutorial lasts
way too long, interrupting your gameplay which can be annoying
when you're fighting and keeping you from having control over
what you do or when you do it. But as I said, I bought Starscape
and I think you will too, so try it!" -

Starscape Review - " Starscape
is a rather innovative space shooter. Apart from plain battle,
it also contains some management and a nice story. The graphics
and audio are pretty good as well.
Travelling with your ship is a space station, on which you can
perform research, build parts, arm weapons and create new ships,
this is
very interesting but a
bit complicated at first.
However, I found the Starscape mining process quite boring. After clearing
4 or
5
areas
I
begin to get sleepy. Mining is too repetitive: Shoot asteroids, then use grav
beams
to collect minerals... and the amount needed for research is soooooo big that
you have to mine a lot, really a lot.
And the battles... could be a bit more challenging. Ships keep appearing from
different part of the map, sometimes directly next to your base.
An average game, in my opinion. But again, it is innovative and original, better
than the plain shooting games like Swarm.
Worth a try if you like space shooters." - Space Sophisticate
Starscape Review - " Blasting
ships, dashing around mining asteroids--What's not to like about
Starscape. Some of you guys are way too intellectual about this
type of game, Starscape is a space shooter, for cripes sake!
Shoot the Ships, Collect the Ore, Enjoy! I Did ( and still do)" -
