Sky Kingdoms Review - "I gotta be honest and state that I'm getting a bit bored of zuma clones as there have probably literally been about four dozens of them. However Sky Kingdoms game is pretty cool as you can move your character left to right at the bottom of the screen and can actually purchase your lives and powerups. The graphics are top notch as is the sound that doesn't get on your nerves. My advice is to give the trial a go if you are a pro as it really may give you that itch again for old time's sake and don't forget to choose hard difficulty. For those new to the world of casual games and zuma clones, you are absolutely gonna love Sky Kingdoms, its something a little special. If Sky Kingdoms was released just about the same time as Zuma, it would have taken the casual gaming scene by storm. But hey, if its been awhile or if you are new to the scene then Sky Kingdoms will satisfy you." - Jeff Hill Sky Kingdoms Review - "I played the demo for about ten minutes and decided to purchase Sky Kingdoms. That's how good it is. I am a fan of Sparkle and have been looking for a game similar too it, and this is the one. It's a great shooter game like Sparkle, and, like Sparkle, you are in a mythic land, on an adventure. Like Zuma, if the balls get too close to the exit, you hear a heart beat sound effect. I first played Sky Kingdoms at the normal difficulty level, and then I played it at Hard. So far, the only difference I noticed was the speed of the balls. The game also seems to be fair to the player. The next group of balls are not released until you are finished with the first group of balls. The graphics, sounds, and music are very good, and give you that mythic adventure feel." - Alice Shaver Sky Kingdoms Review - "For all of you who liked playing Butterfly Escape, Tumblebugs, Sparkle, Zuma and all the other great games, get Sky Kingdoms. The gameplay is more or less the same, but there are some little advantages that makes this game unique. One of these advantages are the powerups that are embedded into the chains. No need to collect them dropping, hitting them with any ball activates them.
In addition there 3 further powerups recharging as you play. And the power of the powerups in Sky Kingdoms can be increased by buying upgrades, payed with coins that drop from combos, special balls and at the end sequence of each stage. Even extra lifes can be bought. Graphics and animations are similar well made as in Sparkle, though it's very irritating that the wings do not completely collect droping coins and crystals. But Sky Kingdoms, like Sparkle, has bugs on the first release. I reached Stage 3-4, a chain reaction stage, within trial time but the game crashed meanwhile 6 times while trying to finish this stage. The sound is surely one you will remember. The effects are well composed and fitting. The music matches the mood of Sky Kingdoms, a fantastical journey through a fantastical land. My resume is to try Sky Kingdoms and buy it when an update releases.

The difference with this game is that you collect coins. And with these coins you can purchase power-ups. The power-ups consist of adding an extra life, or selecting the frequency of the different "power" balls. Fire Ball, Freeze Ball, Stop, Rewind, etc. The sounds and graphics are very "Luxor" like and very polished.
