Risk 2 was previously only available on a CD, when the developers created the downloadable version they were unable to make the 'Save' feature work without the CD--But I can fix that!--All you need to do is create a folder called GameSave in the folder where the game is installed (Example: C:/Program Files/Risk II/GameSave). This will enable the save feature. It workes with me now. I think Risk 2 is very attractive and amusing. Once you have played Risk 2 once, you can't stop playing it. And with all the different rules and gameplays Risk 2 is really better than the Risk II boardgame. From the name of Game and the Risk 2 cover-shot, I thought that this will be a non starter game but when I started to play Risk 2 I realized its addictive potential. I guess sometimes the classics are really classic! The best thing about Risk 2 is that it covers a wide scenario but uses a simple game play. It didn't seem possible to have the whole world in only 80 MB. But as soon as Risk 2 starts and DICE starts to roll, you appreciate the very concept that is behind this game. Interestingly, despite being a DICE based game, Risk 2 still requires a lot of skill-- I had to play Risk 2 for a whole week before I won the "tournament".
