"Ricochet Infinity Review - Ricochet
Infinity is finally here! It took a while before Ricochet Infinity
was released. But now it's finally here! It's a fantastic breakout
game. The music ROCKs ;) The graphics are spectacular, and I love
the game play. Lots of new ships to unlock, each with it's own special
ability. Ricochet Infinity is the only breakout game so far that
has the "Recall" ability. It let's YOU control the ball!
Also there are lots of new balls you can win by collecting all the
rings in each round. All the power-ups in the game have been upgraded.
I love it! I just can't get bored with this action packed game!
I even like the funny spacedog that cheers for you if you win; and
if you loose, he becomes sad. This really is the best breakout game
I have ever played! You can also download tons of new levels directly
into the game. This game is just AWESOME!" - Brick Busting

"Ricochet Infinity Review - Well worth
the wait! After a long long wait and a "Coming Soon" tag
on it for quite a few weeks, it was a relief to see the game out
after such a long time. I couldn't
wait to get my hands on the game and as soon as I saw it was out,
I downloaded it. With the launch of the new main title screen, I
knew that this one was going to be different, and I wasn't to be
disappointed.You start off (unlike
the prequels to this one) not in a series of 200 or so levels, but
a break up of many 'planeterial' levels of say 12 or 17.
Another improvement (one which I wanted
since I started playing the series) is allowing the player to
change their paddles AND their balls after each level if needed.
U earn newer paddles and balls by collecting the golden rings.
Earning more golden rings also improves ur ranking, another innovation!!
More innovations(yeah, u read it right)
include each ship having its own special abilities, the recall
powerup, the probe ball (which destroys evrything in its path
n returns to the paddle) and the other powerups have been made
better looking.
Newer bricks, both in variety as well as
type, have been introduced. Some have their own way of destruction.
Aliens now come n infect your bricks. Whoa!
Before I leave, I musn't forget to mention
the introduction of the game mascot 'Rico' a cute looking alien
dog who claps when u finish the level and cries if u lose the ball,
lol.
Going thru my entire review, I don't think
ur gonna find even one small reason to NOT buy the game. So now
u know what I recommend. Go ahead, buy it n play it."

"Ricochet Infinity is a Smashing Hit!
After a long wait, it finally made it to our computers. For any
fan of Ricochet or breakout games this game is a MUST have. The
best part of these ricochet games is the level editor & you
can even download almost 1000 levels lol.If you go to the forums,
you will learn to make your own levels & you never get bored
trying this, add starfish, glitter, etc.... it is endless &
the game never gets boring, for families with chldren each child
can make own levels to play, for adults it is an endless game, I
know I stayed up late 3 days playing recharged, then stayed up a
few nights learning to make my own levels, this is one game on 2
pcs in house, we actually fight over who plays. Reflexive you get
2 thumbs up for this great follow up :)" - bradybunchbreakout
"Ricochet Infinity Review - Next Great
Leap For The Breakout Genre! After
a long wait its here at last, that next big hitter in Reflexives
long line in great games. This one has to be there best one yet!
I still cant fathom how they manage to re-invent the genre every
time they make a game as it seems smashing bricks would have lost
its appeal after 20 years. This game is a must have if your just
into casual games or your a full-pledged gamer like myself.
Here's the news: They brought
back the rail ball along with every other ball and power -up found
in the last games, plus added more. Heres the new ones. (taken from
the official manual)
Blossom - This power up charges your Ion Sphere with destructive
plasma that can be discharged in every direction from the ball.
(my favorite)
Lightning Ball - This power up turns
your ball into a ball of electrical energy, ready to discharge at
the brick closest to it. Just move your ball close to some destructible
bricks and ZAP! Not quite a ball, but probe is basically a rail
ball on a leash.
Probe - This "thinking person's" power
up is all about positioning your ball. Location, location, location.
When you catch it, it attaches a Probe Charger to your ship,
and a Probe to any ball in play.
And theres quite a few more new power-ups, combine that with the
good old laser ball and fire ball you have tons of variety.
The biggest change in gameplay from the past
games though has to be the recall feature. It lets you "pull"
the ball back down to your your ship towards the side of the screen
your ships on. Its a lot deeper then it sounds and lets you finish
levels faster and opens up more variety in level design. With all
this, I know you can't resist! Give it a try.- Ricochet
