The cosmic bugs are very nicely animated "targets" and "obstacles" in your way. Some of the "cosmic bugs" will release bonuses and weapons. Some release handicaps. Cosmic Bugs is based on logic and strategic moves, there is no race against the clock. Once you clear 85% of the board you move on to the next level. The point bonus you receive in Cosmic Bugs is based on how many cosmic bugs are left at the end of the level. Maximum bonus is 2000 points (at least up to stage 15). If you leave one cosmic bug on the board the bonus is 1500. There are various amounts when more bugs are left. The game concept is similar to Jezzball. Editors Note: What is Jezzball? Jezzball is a spatial puzzle. You have a grid and you must build walls to eliminate sections of the game area without running into the defenders. Many gamers still play "jezzball" which is just a grid with balls-- they will find the retro plus versions of Water Bugs and Cosmic Ball fantastic upgrades. In Cosmic Bugs the balls are replaced with alien creatures. The grids are replaced with great graphics. Both games, Cosmic Bugs and Water Bugs are made by PopCap Games.
