User Reviews for Aveyond: The Lost Orb

Aveyond: The Lost Orb Review - "First, let me just say that I have enjoyed all of the Aveyond games including this one, but a review is a review!
When the Orbs of Magic series was originally under production, the creators were talking about how the series had choices that would affect the future chapters. After playing through the previous chapter Gates of Night I was thrilled, because I had worked very hard to get the "good ending." However, in the first 20 minutes of The Lost Orb, they make everything you did previously not matter. No matter what you did before tAveyond: The Lost Orb, Stella is alive but is not a playable character, Edward marries Lydia, and it doesn't really matter what stuff you had, because it all gets stolen, and the game can adjust your level so it doesn't even matter what level your characters were. This doesn't ruin the entire game, but you might as well pick Aveyond: The Lost Orb up without having played any of the others, because you pretty much have to start over from scratch.
Having said that, as with all Aveyond games the game play and story are excellent, even though Mel can be extremely annoying considering how stupid she acts. In addition they add some new interesting characters which is OK, but they have replaced many of the old characters, and I feel like we could have learned a lot more about them."

Aveyond: The Lost Orb Review - "wow what can i say..
I have been waiting since I finished GoN [Aveyond: Gates of Night] for the next installment.
The characters storylines as well as the main plots are getting better especially for Mel.
The Orbs of magic series episodes are longer and have more tasks to do than the Rhen's and Ean's quest.
All the areas which you visit in LoT [Aveyond: Lord of Twilight] and GoN [Aveyond: Gates of Night] are the same as the places in The Lost Orb but it has more destinations to explore.
Cannot wait for the next one: The Darkthrop prophecy.. XD "

Aveyond: The Lost Orb Review - " I love it! Keep in mind that the story isn't over yet, so they can still resolve this in the final chapter. I've got my fingers crossed that everything will get straightened out in the next game." - Jenny

Aveyond: The Lost Orb Review - " Aveyond: The Lost Orb is the best so far. This installment of the Aveyond games is the best so far. The monsters are harder and the story line keeps getting better with each installment. Game play is the same. Cant wait to see what they do next with the game. If you have not played a Aveyond game before then you should play this one. i give it 5/5." - Gameboy

Aveyond: The Lost Orb Review - "i can't explain it whether i would be excited or disappointed from the orbs of magic series they released, after beating lords of twilight, and gates of night. i was kinda disappointed at this one. i remembered when they asked me to save my game of Gates of Night so i can continue the game in the The Lost Orb with the same lvl, items. but in the story, it is stolen?! so that means the saving part doesn't even make sense.
but then again im so happy for the new map, characters, story [better storyline], weapons, enemies, everything!. and im waiting for the next chapter, The DarkThrop Prophecy be released. and i got my best wishes for it to be a good game, still hoping to save all my weapons from the previous chapter.
I must thank Amaranth Games for this awesome series."
- Sume Jo
