Aveyond: Gates of Night is the second game in the Orbs of Magic series.

In this adventure, Aveyond: Gates of Night, Mel must find an artifact which can thwart the Vampire Gyendal from plunging the world of Aia into darkness.

Mel must leave the mainland on her quest and explore mysterious lands across the great sea in Aveyond: Gates of Night.

Aveyond: Gates of Night Review - " I'm a fan of RPGs , and the Aveyond series as well, i played all of them , and i loved them all, well Aveyond: Gates of Night is pretty good too but i didn't really like how they divided the game if only they made a full game that would have been much better, but i guess they didn't have much time so they made it that way, anyway if you're a fan of aveyond be sure you'll love it, it's true nothing big is new but still the story the roles are different each time and what's important is that i enjoy playing them wish it was longer since i finish RPGs really fast but still those games are worth buying " - RPG Gamer

Aveyond: Gates of Night Review - "If you haven't already, play Aveyond: Lord of Twilight before this one. This one is a sequel to Aveyond: Lord of Twilight... Still not improving a game just because it is a second part is not an excuse... I'm pretty disappointed because it didn't improve at all... There is still no minimap which makes it really hard to find your way around (just because there are secret areas doesn't mean you can't make a minimap...)
I wasn't too involved with the story of Aveyond: Lord of Twilight and this one just continues to that story...
I also played and bought both Aveyond and Aveyond 2 because they were incredible for the time being... But now it just doesn't improve and repeat itself...
Well I don't really know about how any of you out there will feel about an RPG this good going steady but I feel really bad about it...
So as for my final say on this one:
Play Aveyond: Lord of Twilight first then if you liked it buy it and finish it... Only after you've finished Aveyond: Lord of Twilight you should try Aveyond: Gates of Night...
I'm pretty sure you'll get an impression of liking the game or even loving it if you play any of the Aveyond series but since you start with level 11-17 characters on this one you'll most likely get overwhelmed with the information that is given at the start.
So go on and try Aveyond: Lord of Twilight... " - George

Aveyond: Gates of Night Review - "Very good series but i hate to wait.This game in overall is great, most if you are playing the whole series.
I played the older Aveyond games there are much development in the game interface, graphics and game experience (notice that the series of orbs are the same in every thing, i meant the first 2 games), the story line is good as usually but the series made the last 2 games very short ones, and the story makes it more interesting so you feel bad when it ends without knowing the end of the story, so if you planning on playing this game i recommend to play the whole series of orbs in continues, so start from the beginning in Aveyond: Lord of Twilight it will be more enjoyable that way.
