The concept of Egypt and the idea of the whole game, is great, but the sound lets it down a bit. It's not as slick as Hidden Relics and Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile. first saw Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb, I thought "hmmmm
this ain't the type of thing I am into" But I played the game
(Oviously) and ended up playing it for hours, it gets a bit repetitive
but its still a fantastic game! Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb Review - "Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb is a typical hide & seek game with a twist at the end. Great game playing, until you get past the first round. Then you have to play the same sites over and over again until you complete the game. Once completing the game and finding the "Lost Tomb", you unlock the secret game mode. That makesit all worthwhile. You get 2 new rooms to explore and you can play any scene in the game, in any order. The secret game in Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb is more challenging & makes this game worth the price. You'll never get to the secret game on trial mode. The music is monotonous, just turn it off or substitue your own. Graphics are fine. Some items needing to be found, are literally hidden behind another item and not visible to the player. It makes you angry when you know that the item that you need, is behind another item and you cannot remove the item in front, in order to collect the hidden item. Use the hint button to collect that item. A few items are off-screen and you can only locate them using the hint button. I'd give the secret game mode of Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb an 8 out of 10 (music stinks, remember?) and the initial game mode a 6 out of 10. Still, it's worth the buy for the secret game mode if you are a fan of hide & seek games. There are 7 mini puzzles and the best thing is the Egypt theme.
